Director’s Message

As we celebrate our 4th year as the PNP's Tagapagsanay, we pause for a while and take stock of ourselves. Where are we now? Where do we want to go from here? How do we go there?

Let us first revisit our mission. Simply stated, our mission is to train policemen so that they will acquire the necessary knowledge, skill, competency and discipline to perform their assigned task.

We are guided by our vision to be the Center of Excellence for police training and continuing education by year 2015. This is aligned with the revised PNP vision under the PNP Performance Governance System which states: "Imploring the aid of the Almighty, by 2030, we shall be a highly capable, effective and credible police service working in partnership with a responsive community towards the attainment of a safer place to live, work and do business." Attaining this vision and mission is however a very challenging task. I am grateful to my three predecessors and the men and women who worked under them for doing an excellent job of laying the groundwork for us thereby making our work a little easier to perform. I am fortunate that I have PNPTS personnel working with me now who are very talented and who share with me the same passion for the job.
